Water-resistant and increased water-resistant plywood
Impregnation with special compounds increases the water resistance of the material, and sanding provides an attractive appearance. Water-resistant plywood is treated with urea-formaldehyde resins without phenol, which ensures its resistance to moisture. The material with melamine-formaldehyde impregnation is characterized by high moisture resistance and environmental friendliness. It is used in bathrooms, kitchens, in conditions with high humidity.
The most moisture-resistant - Bakelized plywood impregnated with resin, obtained as a result of formaldehyde compounds treatment with alkali. It is distinguished by high mechanical strength, moisture resistance, anticorrosive characteristics, fire resistance, resistance to salt solutions.
Depending on the sort, moisture-resistant plywood is used for different purposes, including:
finishing the floor in residential areas (bathroom, kitchen, bathroom);
The device of sound and thermal insulation;
Softwood veneer sheets are made from the laminated veneer of pine, cedar, fir or spruce. The inner layer may contain deciduous or coniferous veneer. It is used:
as a base for laying parquet;
as a base coating under the laminate;
For packaging and construction of temporary buildings;
in roofing works.
Due to the content of natural resins the sheets have an increased water resistance. On its surface there are fewer defects. Material of this type is not installed in places with high temperature, in the areas of increased loads and where you need the strength to bend.
Birch veneer has a beautiful texture, high strength, durability, low density, which leads to a high price. It is used for furniture production, interior finishing works, in construction.
